Journal Entry #9

I am afraid that I may now be in very grave danger. Wellington has surprised me with an unknown force using the reverse slope defence against me. My own tactic! How dare he defile it! How did he even come to know of how it worked? I have lost many men already, but I cannot retreat because Blücher is flanking me on the other side. I will just have to push on and pray that my might is enough to slay them still. I thought that I was the only man intelligent enough to think up such strategies. It seems I may need to be much more careful next time. If there is a next time...
